THE 6 MONTH APPLE & RASPBERRY SEASON IS COMING TO A CLOSE.
FINAL NUMBERS:
RASPBERRIES – 600 PINTS (ABOUT HALF THE 2023 CROP)
APPLES – 310 BUSHELS (COMPARED TO 270 BUSHELS IN 2023)
WE LOST A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF BOTH RASPBERRIES AND APPLES TO WIND EVENTS DURING THE SUMMER.
FOOD BANK CONTRIBUTION FOR THE SEASON - $1,600
WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 23RD WILL BE THE LAST APPLE DAY AT THE FARM STAND
$10/ PECK BAG, THAT’S ¼ BUSHEL, ABOUT 10-12 POUNDS.
THEY WILL BE GOOD FOR EATING, JUICING, BAKING OR DRYING
